About Salvus
Salvus exists for one reason: to help people get home safely.
Every year, hundreds of people die on Bulgaria's roads and many more are injured. Most of these crashes share a common thread — speed. Salvus was built to give drivers a shot at something they rarely get: a warning, ideally a few seconds before the danger reaches them.
The app turns every driver into an anonymous sensor. When a vehicle is moving dangerously fast nearby, everyone close by can receive an anonymous alert — never a name, never a plate, just “a vehicle is moving too fast near you.” It also aims to warn you as you approach historically dangerous crash sites, fully offline, so it can look out for you even when no one else is around.
Privacy is not an afterthought. Salvus needs no sign-up and keeps only your latest position, for a few minutes — and to other drivers you're never anything more than an anonymous alert. Safety should never cost you your privacy.
We're a small team and we improve Salvus constantly, based on real roads and real feedback. If you have an idea or run into a problem, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
